How long will an EcoFlow DELTA 3 run a refrigerator?
Will an EcoFlow DELTA 3 run a fridge, and for how long?
About 14.5 hours on the base battery — calculated, not tested. It depends on your fridge: the figure assumes a modern fridge drawing 150 W while its compressor runs, with the compressor on 40% of the time (a 60 W average). A bigger, older, or heat-soaked fridge draws more and cuts the hours; the fridge runtime calculator re-runs this model against your own numbers.
14.5 hours
Base battery (1,024 Wh), 150 W running draw at a 40% duty cycle, 0.85 AC efficiency. If the compressor ran non-stop, the floor is 5.8 hours.
Start check: passes on paper. The compressor start draws about 2,350 W for a split second (150 W running + 2,200 W additional starting watts from the Generac/Lowe's worksheet); this model's surge rating is 3,600 W, and its continuous rating (1,800 W) covers the 150 W running draw.

Load assumptions, graded: fridge running draw 150 W — the default in our fridge calculator, typical of a modern fridge while its compressor runs (check the label inside yours). Compressor duty cycle 40% — INFERRED, a WattLong planning assumption. Additional starting watts 2,200 W — Generac/Lowe's sizing worksheet, REPORTED (Generac's manual chart says 1,600 W; we use the higher figure). Runtime = capacity × 0.85 ÷ (150 W × 40%); the 0.85 factor is Bluetti's published formula factor, REPORTED. Base battery only — expansion batteries raise the hours in proportion. Generac's worksheet also lists a conservative 700 W sizing figure for older/larger fridges; sizing with it under-promises, which is the safe direction. Full methodology: how we calculate.
Food-safety note: a fridge keeps food safe for only a limited time without power, and runtime estimates are estimates. Follow USDA/FDA guidance on perishable food during outages.
